This September, we invite you to step away from the noise of the modern world and enter a seven-day sanctuary designed for the woman ready to connect with the path of the goddess and to rediscover her inner voice. From the heights of sacred hills to the stillness of ancient stones, this pilgrimage is a mirror that gently reflects back the truth of who you are when you finally stop to listen.
The myth and mystery of Avalon
Our time in Somerset is an immersion into the living landscape in and around Avalon, a place where the veil is thin and the ancient world still breathes. While we gather during the sacred window of Mabon (the Autumn Equinox), our focus is the deep, primordial call of the goddesses who have long stood as guardians of the land.
Beyond the physical beauty around us, we will cultivate a direct relationship with the spirits of the land. We’ll learn to listen to the whispers of a landscape that has been a mystical sanctuary for millennia.
We will dive into the myths that define this region, bringing the archetypes of the Lady and the ancient Celtic goddesses into conversation with our contemporary lives. By retracing these stories, we find new ways to navigate our own paths with the clarity of ancestral wisdom.

Indoor spa for relaxation and restoration, featuring a heated pool, hot tub, and sauna available exclusively to our circle.
Beautifully appointed guest suites to ensure restful sleep. Every guest room is shared* but designed with an eye for comfort. Each guest suite features its own private en-suite bathroom.
Spacious dining areas designed to accommodate our full circle where we can gather for meals and the kind of connection that happens when we break bread together.
Indoor and outdoor common spaces, sitting areas, and cozy nooks, perfect for curling up with a book or enjoying heartfelt conversation.
Our home for this journey is a tranquil, privately-held Somerset estate which offers a sanctuary of stone and spirit nestled deep within the rolling English landscape. For these six nights, we are the only souls within these gates, ensuring a space of privacy and peace.
*Guest rooms are designed to be double occupancy (2 guests). Single rooms may be available depending on our final group size. A single-occupancy surcharge will be applied with this option. Single rooms, if available, will be assigned in order of registration date.

Leading our retreat is Isabel Carrington, owner and founder of The Bell and Raven. Isabel is a spiritual mentor, intuitive guide, elder practitioner, and sacred celebrant. From the moment we gather at our central London meeting point, nearly every detail of your journey is held in our care. Our intention is for you to step out of the logistics of travel and into the presence of the land and your fellow seekers.

A Note on Shared vs. Private Accommodations: While our guest rooms are double-occupancy, a limited number of single-occupancy rooms may be released as we approach our departure date. These will be offered to currently registered guests in the order of their original registration date for a surcharge of $750. If you wish to be placed on the priority list for a single room, please indicate your interest on the registration form.

Your tuition covers nearly every detail of the journey once we depart London: From transportation to sacred sites, comfortable guest accommodations, nourishing meals, site entry fees, and guided activities. Absolutely. While the retreat is thoughtfully scheduled to offer a rich and immersive experience, there will be dedicated time for personal reflection, exploring the beautiful grounds, or simply relaxing. Additionally, please note that some of the scheduled activities are optional, allowing participants the flexibility to use that time as they choose.

Please be aware that most guest rooms within our private estate are accessed via stairs. In addition, access to the sacred sites that we will be visiting requires walking moderate distances over uneven terrain and climbing a steep hill.

Yes, and we encourage it! If you would like to share a room with a specific friend who is also registered for the retreat, please specify their name on your application form. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

A non-refundable deposit of $750 is required upon registration to secure your spot. We have options to pay the remaining balance in two or three installments. You also have the option to pay the full retreat fee at the time of registration.
All deposits are non-refundable. Final balances are due on or before July 15th, 2026. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of personal or medical emergencies.
